Why a cup holder expander
Most car cup holders were drawn up for a 12 oz can, while the bottles people actually carry now run 32, 40 and even 64 oz. A cup holder expander sits in the original holder and gives you a wider, deeper ring on top. DYLEN expanders use a base that spreads out with a twist, so the adapter locks into round holders from about 2.5 to 3.9 inches across and stays in place when you lift the bottle out.
Bottles and mugs we plan for
We size our rings and arms around the drinkware you already own: 20 to 46 oz tumblers and flasks in the fixed-ring models, and anything from 2.5 to 5.9 inches wide in the adjustable-arm expander. A slot in the side lets a mug handle pass through, and rubber tabs keep narrower bottles centered instead of rattling.
More than a drink holder
The same base that holds a bottle can carry a swiveling food tray, a phone mount on a bendable arm or a small lidded trash can. Each one uses the cup holder as a sturdy anchor, so you can eat, navigate and clean up without clips on the vents or adhesive on the dash.
Before you order
Measure the inside of your cup holder and the widest point of your bottle. Round holders work best; square, shallow or covered holders may not give the base enough grip. Our fit guide walks through the measurements in a couple of minutes.
