How to Install a Cup Holder Expander in Under a Minute

Every DYLEN base works the same way: it goes into your cup holder narrow, then you twist it until the pads press out against the walls. No tools and nothing that sticks to your car.

Here is the order that gives the tightest fit, whichever model you picked.

  1. Clear the holder

    Pull out any rubber liner or coin tray that lifts out, so the base sits on the real floor of the holder.

  2. Set the base

    Drop the base in with the pads fully retracted. It should slide in freely.

  3. Twist to lock

    Turn the dial until the pads touch the walls, then give it one more firm turn. Tug the top; it shouldn't lift.

  4. Attach the top

    Screw or click on the ring, the tray post or the phone arm, depending on the model.

  5. Test with your bottle

    Put the bottle in, then take a slow corner in a parking lot. If anything wobbles, tighten the base a little more.
